Head Honcho, one of South Africa’s leading clothing brands and events labels held the annual Stay Fresh event at Shimmy Beach Bar in Cape Town on Saturday the 13th September 2014.
Jameson, in conjunction with MUMM Champagne was on site to treat some of South Africa’s trendiest party goers with a premium nightclub experience. Elevator’s events arm was on site to provide the slickest and most comfortable VIP experience for VIP guests. As they say, photos speak a 1000 words, the promo girls, VIP setup and branding elements were all of the highest quality and appreciated by everyone who was in attendance.
We even we got to enjoy an ice cold Jameson on the rocks at the end of the day, it certainly was Triple Distilled, as the taste was twice as smooth!
October 2013 marked the start of a beautiful partnership between Elevator and Kopparberg SA. Since then Kopparberg’s brand awareness and sales have grown exponentially by means of social media and direct communication marketing done through Elevator.
Elevator has been fortunate enough to run an ongoing national campaign for Kopparberg across 5 provinces on a weekly basis. We do numerous on-trade (restaurants, bars & markets) and off-trade (bottle stores) activations at various outlets with the objective being to raise awareness of the brand and to push sales. By using both male and female brand ambassadors of the highest quality we have managed to accomplish what we had set out to achieve. As a partnership Elevatorvides Kopparberg SA with the highest level of trust and reliability.
Wednesday nights are known as ‘girl’s night out’ and Kopparberg Premium Cider complements the movie premier events perfectly!
On Wednesday evening, Times Media hosted a movie premier event called “The Other Women” at both the Nu Metro cinema in Canal walk and the Ster Kinekor cinema in Tygervalley Mall. Kopparberg and Elevator were both fortunate enough to be exclusively invited to do tastings at both venues.
Elevator has been working with the number 1 tequila in the world, Jose Cuervo (as per a study). Our staff in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Durban and the Garden Route has been working regularly at venues such as Baron Sandton, Elephant and Friends, Mystic Boer and Florida Keys.
The campaign revolves around a Shotski, a very cool lit up Shotski that holds 3 shot glasses. The idea behind the Shotski activation is to encourage consumers to get involved with the brand and make the brand more interactive.
Elevator got involved with the Small Business Growth Conference in 2013 to share our views on the industry and to see how we could enhance brands on a marketing front.
As a brand, Elevator has evolved over the years to become a below the line agency, which strives to remain trendy and unique in their offering. With a national footprint we were able to communicate to our consumers that we are quite comfortable to accommodate them with national campaigns involving production of elements, staffing and in some cases an event which marries all of these offerings.
Our main focus was to gain consumer insight and to learn how we could further differentiate ourselves from our competitors.
Elevator was fortunate enough to be involved with the BlackBerry brand through our client Conceptspark. We were tasked with catering for the event and creating a premium ambience which would best suit the brand, with our main objective being, to deliver great quality within a very short turnaround time.
BlackBerry has been a global leader in the industry for many years and BlackBerry revolutionized the mobile industry when it was introduced in 1999. BlackBerry releases devices which are of great quality, technology, look and cost effectiveness, with their aim being to "inspire the success of our millions of customers around the world by continuously pushing the boundaries of mobile experiences".
The event was hosted at the Taj Hotel in Cape Town which matched the exclusivity and style of the event. Knowing the success of the brand, we were just to happy to be a part of the overall experience. We wish we could go into more detail about what BlackBerry was up to, but we assure you that when all is revealed, you will not be disappointed.

Elevator Marketing Communication is a very progressive brand with its main focus being below the line. The driving force behind most of the innovation within Elevator is most definitely Trevor Bernberg, he has been instrumental in the constant research & development of our brand.
Giving thought to the evolution and growth of the Elevator brand is part of the reason why Trevor has achieved great results within the industry.
As they say, "a leader becomes exceptional by design, not by accident. They are like master craftsmen, continually shaping and polishing their characters and personalities so that they evolve and grow into someone important and worthwhile". Our mastermind is one that is humble and prefers to put his team first, before he reaps rewards... we commend you!
Trevor Bernberg often finds himself out and about amongst our industry's thought leaders and trend setters, not by choice, but by lifestyle.
Toyota is by far one of the most anticipated stands at the Johannesburg International Motor Show and in the year 2013, it was not a let down. Toyota is known for creating the world's first mass produced gas/electric hybrid car... the Prius and to add to that impressive feat, Toyota sells more hybrids than all other manufacturers combined.
There are too many points to mention about the Toyota brand which clearly sets it aside from all other competitors in terms of quality, innovativeness and being economical. The reason for Toyota receiving so many global awards, is due to their constant research & development and attention to detail.
2013 was a truly memorable year, with the Johannesburg International Motor Show 2013 again attracting the masses from all over the world.
Elevator was fortunate enough to be involved with the premium Lexus brand, which offers "sophistication, performance, safety and refinement - the ideals of contemparary luxury". This set build was always going to be one that would turn heads, with its sleek and classy design housed with the beautiful luxury Lexus vehicles obviously stealing the limelight, matched by the premium appeal of our stunning Lexus promotional models.
This event was a great success and we were able obtain the clients objectives. Our staff went through intensive screening processes before being selected by client to continue with a rigorous training, the result being, well educated premium promotional models becoming Lexus brand custodians.

It was another lovely sunny day in the Mother City, the guests arrived at the Waterfront in the luxurious Raddison Blu hotel cars. We then met with them and walked them to the Tigger 2 yacht, docked in the bay with all its beauty and class. We boarded the yacht and the guests were handed mainstay cocktails by our promotional models. We took a couple of photographs and off we went on our cruise. The boat took us to Clifton were we docked. They all spent a lot of time downstairs at the bar having drinks. The crew on the boat served lunch while we were docked at Clifton (a typically South African braai with salads). The yacht then took us back to the waterfront. The vibe on the boat was one only a Mainstay party could create, flowing drinks and good music was the order of the day. After docking back at the Waterfront the guests were escorted to the mall where they had a dream shopping spree.
